Northstar Travel Group looking for an Editor based in Quebeca to join our TravelPulse Canada team.

**Daily duties would include**:

- Create daily content for a TravelPulse Canada's Quebec-focused newsletter
- Post daily updates on the Quebec travel trade site
- Conduct independent research and write articles, features, and other content related to Quebec’s travel scene
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure accuracy and consistency in all published materials
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in travel journalism and integrate them into daily content

**Qualifications**:

- Bilingual proficiency in French and English
- Proven experience in publishing, journalism, or digital content creation
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet daily deadlines
- Preferably, experience in travel journalism or a strong passion for the travel industry
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail

This would is an Independent Contractor position (with a contract), so you would be paid monthly but there’s no fringe benefits and you would be responsible for taxes, etc.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
