Reports to: Operations Leader - Main Batching
**Responsibilities**:
- Assure batching associates have equipment needed to perform job duties.
- Record batching instructions.
- Monitor food safety through proper ingredient handling practices.
- Ensure compliance of Pre-weigh procedures.
- Ensure movement and proper ingredient handling practices.
- Contact Quality Control if questions arise about ingredients.
- Will be certified in the operations of all production machinery in his or her area of responsibility.
- Responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of the product run on the lines based on specifications.
- Responsible for duplicating and communicating all safety and good manufacturing practices in accordance with company policy as well as other company policies.
- Observe all safety rules and promote a safe working environment with team members.
- Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
- Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
- Other duties as assigned.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related fields
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in beverage manufacturing or related field.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Suite of Applications), and instructional software
- Skill in organization skills and the ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasks
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
