**Old Yale Brewing Chilliwack** is looking for a **Warehouse & Deliveries Assistant **to join our Sales and Production team

This is a unique opportunity that will allow one lucky individual to not only be a part of, but to also learn about both sides of our awesome Sales and Production Departments. The role will primarily maintain focus on aiding with duties such as product delivery to various key accounts, providing assistance with prepping and “stacking down” orders to be delivered, support brewery production with meticulous sanitation/cleaning of production area, labeling bottles, etc.

**CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITES**:

- Conduct delivery and pick-ups of full/empty products to key accounts.
- Help prep and stage each days' orders by reading picking slips and stacking, wrapping and staging orders to be picked up at the pre-arranged time.
- Help with managing product placement on shelves, displays, and other various shelf facing promotions the Company runs.
- Ensure, whenever possible, that the merchandising of our products is displayed in a neat manner.
- Providing assistance rotating stock (first in - first out) in a neat, tidy and organized manner.
- Support brewery production team members in the meticulous sanitation/cleaning of all brewing equipment and production area(s).
- Provide support with packaging, including but not limited to:

- cleaning and racking kegs;
- topping and stacking cans while cleaning;
- labelling bottles;
- packaging and stacking bottles;
- wrapping pallets.
- Rolling up your sleeves and do what's necessary to get the job done and complete other various duties as required within the same scope and level.

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum 2 years of customer and/or warehouse experience; ideally some knowledge or experience in the Craft Beer industry is an asset.
- Must have the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships.
- Have a great understanding and collaborative approach when it comes to problem solving.
- Be confident and comfortable operating a variety of vehicles of various size, up too and including 5 Ton truck (no air brakes required)
- Valid driver's license with no limitations / restrictions. Must be able to provide a recent copy of a MVR (driver's abstract).
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Must have strong organizational skills and be able to work under tight timelines.
- Must be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, problem solve, develop an action plan, and implement the plan.
- Enthusiasm for sharing your passion for beer with team members and customers
