We are looking for like-minded, hard-working individuals to join our team, and help us throughout all stages of our projects under development. We are engaged in several different housing projects, which each have several stages, all requiring different skillsets. Whether you have no experience in this field, or you have years of experience in areas such as construction, plumbing, painting, etc., you could be a fit for our growing team.
We work with skilled professionals at each stage of our projects, and we are looking for energetic, enthusiastic workers who can take direction, and support these professionals, as well as our Project Manager. You will be given the opportunity to either employ skills you have learned in your previous experience or learn new skills and assist on the worksite with general day-to-day tasks.
**Your responsibilities will included, but are not limited to**:
- Follow directions from leaders on site, such as sub-contractors and team leads, as well as the Project Supervisor.
- Strive to learn, improve, and grow. Always ask questions
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Display good manners and attitude towards our property, co-workers, sub-contractors, and the public.
- Ability to work as a team and individually, as required.
- Arrive to the job site on time and communicate with us when there could be issues.
- Wear proper work appeal as required by your supervisor.
**Day-to-day tasks will include**:
- Site clean-up and garbage disposal to keep our site clean and help the community.
- Transport materials from site-to-site as required.
- Pickup supplies from various vendors in the area.
- Heavy-lifting of supplies and job materials.
- Operation of a variety of hand and power tools.
- General labour tasks such as digging, painting, raking, etc.
- And much, much more
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience will be rewarded with higher pay rates, but no experience is required.
- Education: high school graduation or equivalent.
**Pay**:
- Pay starts at $17 per hour.
- Growth and learning within our team is encouraged, and will be rewarded.
**The position offers**:
- Full-time work (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday
