- **Pacific Industrial Movers LP **_**(dba) Apex Specialized Rigging & Moving and Pro-Tech Industrial Movers**, part of NorLand Limited, provides specialized rigging, heavy transport of major components and customized solutions for their customers.

Pacific Industrial Movers is looking for a team member to fill the position of **Yard Helper**_**,**_ based out of Delta, BC. This would be a great opportunity for someone just out of high school, who is willing to learn on the job. No experience necessary, we will train the right individual. In this position you will be responsible for material handling in the yard, including loading, offloading and storage of equipment & materials. The Yard helper will support our Warehouseman and Yard Foreman in daily activities related to maintaining our storage facility and yard.
- **Accountabilities**:_
- Assist with maintaining the yard and warehouse in an organized and neat manner
- Proactively communicate with Supervisors to ensure correct work area protocols are followed
- Assist in the yard & building to organize and keep tidy
- Help promote a work environment where the safety and health of all employees, subcontractors, and individuals is paramount
- Hold a keen interest for improving effectiveness and appearance of the warehouse
- Have flexible hours to open or close the shop and warehouse

**Responsibilities**:

- Keep the warehouse tidy, ensuring storage goods are clearly labelled and located
- Assist with inventory management of all small tools and rigging
- Support all warehouse staff with warehouse activities including preparing and closing out work
- Willing to learn building maintenance and yard maintenance including health and safety
- **Qualifications**:_
- Previous warehouse experience an asset
- Forklift License an asset
- Willing to commute to Abbotsford when company moves in the future

**Salary**: $26.00-$26.63 per hour
