- Rake and spread asphalt mix to achieve proper grade, slope, and finish
- Assist in aligning and straightening edges for a clean, uniform surface
- Work closely with the screedman, paver operator, and roller operators to maintain consistent flow and quality
- Identify and correct imperfections or low spots in freshly laid asphalt
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order

**Must-Have Experience**:

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Rakerman or in asphalt paving
- Knowledge of asphalt placement techniques and finish requirements
- Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to quality and safety on every project
