**Position Summary**

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented **Site Superintendent** to lead the **on-site coordination and execution** of multiple commercial fit-up projects within our mixed-use property portfolio. This position will work closely with the Project Manager, who will oversee high-level project planning and scheduling.

The Site Superintendent will be responsible for **managing day-to-day construction activities**, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project plans and timelines. This is a boots-on-the-ground role that requires strong communication, field coordination, and attention to site safety and quality.

**Key Responsibilities**

**On-Site Execution & Supervision**
- Oversee daily site activities across multiple active commercial fit-up projects
- Implement project plans provided by the Project Manager, ensuring work aligns with scope and design intent
- Monitor subcontractor performance and adherence to schedule and safety requirements
- Conduct on-site problem-solving, escalating major issues to the Project Manager

**Trade Coordination**
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for trades, vendors, and site visitors
- Coordinate deliveries, equipment, and materials to maintain efficient workflows
- Lead site meetings and daily check-ins with subcontractors

**Site Reporting & Documentation**
- Maintain accurate site logs, and daily progress updates
- Communicate site conditions, delays, and issues to the Project Manager in a timely manner
- Assist with progress inspections and deficiency tracking

**Liaison & Communication**
- Act as the on-site representative of the company to tenants, building operations, and inspectors
- Coordinate site access and work schedules to minimize disruption to tenants and building staff
- Ensure project signage, cleanliness, and professionalism are upheld

**Health & Safety Compliance**
- Enforce occupational health and safety protocols on all job sites
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Promptly report and investigate incidents or near misses

**Qualifications**
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a similar field leadership role in commercial construction
- Demonstrated ability to manage active construction sites independently
- Strong knowledge of commercial fit-up methods, safety practices, and basic building codes
- Able to perform minor carpentry related tasks. (I.e, hanging doors, installing backing, site cleaning etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Comfortable using mobile apps and basic reporting tools (MS Excel, construction software)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Trade background or construction diploma/certificate preferred
