Hello, welcome to East Van Laundry

We are looking for a casual laundry attendant to work 2 days per week starting ASAP. The exact dates the applicant must be able to work from Oct-Dec are:

- _**MONDAYS 9am-3pm**_
- _**THURSDAYS 3pm-8pm**_

**Duties**
- Provide friendly customer service :)
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to company standards
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
- Ensure proper handling and storage of clean and dirty linens
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop
- Be able to carry 20-30lb of laundry and stand for long periods of time

**Experience**
- Previous experience in customer service
- Cash handling experience
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong ability to prioritize orders of events and multitask

As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for operating the washers and dryers for our laundry services. We pride ourselves in providing the best customer service, so greeting everyone with a smile and exchanging conversation is encouraged The business of the shop fluctuates often, so having the ability to work independently and prioritize certain tasks and multitask is key. This is a physically demanding job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time because we are always improving our service

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.85 per hour
