Richmond School District operates 37 elementary schools, 10 secondary schools, alternate programs, continuing education and a number of additional facilities. The district enrolls approximately 22,000 students (K-12) and employs over 3000 dedicated staff. The Speech-Language Pathologist will work with resource teachers and school teams to support students who have significant developmental disabilities with significant learning, communication and/or behavior challenges. Provide collaborative consultation with teachers, parents, and community agencies, and at school-based team meetings Provide ongoing collaborative planning for students and classrooms and assist with pre-referral interventions Provide individualized psycho-educational assessments (based on student need) for students referred through the school-based team process Contribute to the development and progress monitoring of the IEP or Student Learning Plan Provide in-service training in the area of interventions, progress monitoring, data collection and/or assessment Assist with the Ministry of Education processes for designation and adjudication Assist school and district staff in providing additional “Pro D” support for educators and support staff **Qualifications**: We thank all applicants for their interest, however only those being considered for interviews will be contacted.
