**SUMMARY**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Meet or exceed financial goals, focusing on sales, service, delivery, and overall profitability
- Maintain controllable expenses within established guidelines. Process billing, invoices, and related documents to ensure vendors and service providers are paid within the appropriate time frame.
- Maintain inventory levels and forecasting for the future
- Drive sales through the development of sales staff, focusing on coaching, training, and role modelling desired behaviors
- Promote and model a culture of positive customer service to everyone, each day
- Maintain merchandise and visual presentation standards daily
- Protect employees and customers by providing a clean and safe store environment. Ensure store is compliant with OH&S regulations.
- Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements
- Work with marketing to assist with advertising, promotions, trends, etc.
- Recruit, hire, and train sales, delivery, and service associates for all store positions, as applicable. Create and oversee staffing and scheduling, implement individual development plans, set productivity and performance standards for each associate. Complete and deliver performance conversations quarterly, and formal reviews annually.
- Create and maintain an environment of consistent and continuous coaching
- Develop a succession plan for sales positions in your store
- Meet with and know all store managers within the company and ensure consistency and best practices throughout the company
- Ensure proper communication within your store. Schedule regular store meetings/memos to share and distribute information
- Ensure all inventory functions are completed as directed, including regular inventory counts. Receive merchandise in a timely manner. If needed, follow the appropriate back stocking recommendations.
- Establish and maintain operational and monetary controls. Prepare daily bank deposits and perform daily/weekly auditing tasks. Report any discrepancies, theft, or suspected theft by employees or customers to the Regional Manager immediately.
- Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions meet them
- Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and projecting future performance
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, attending classes, and participating in professional groups
- Manage month-end, quarterly, and year-end close processes

**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a retail or sales setting
- Experience in a managerial capacity preferred
- Strong customer focus

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
