- As the Manager, FP&A - NAM Retail you will deliver reporting and analysis for NAM retail to support key decision making. You will partner with retail leadership and lead strategic analysis, performance reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting to inform business decisions and drive outstanding results within NAM retail.

- Financial Planning & Analysis at Arc’teryx is responsible for providing leadership with the information they need to review past performance, understand business trends, and anticipate future profitability and financial position. Through review of historic financials, variance analysis and KPI tracking, FP&A advises leadership on key investment decisions and performance improvement.

**If you were the Manager, FP&A - NAM Retail, here are some of the core activities you would be doing**:

- Acting as a key business partner to Commercial Retail Support Functions (Retail Strategic Initiatives, Retail Ops, Area Directors and Regional Managers) to help them understand and interpret retail KPI’s
- Leading a team of Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analysts supporting NAM retail
- Overseeing the preparation of and guiding the future evolution of weekly and monthly tracking sales reports, and provide supporting analysis for Arc’teryx commercial and senior leadership team
- Leading the FP&A Retail team in the preparation of financial P&L forecasts for NAM Retail (both brand stores and factory outlets), including the identification/quantification of risks and opportunities through review and analysis
- Preparing month end P&L reporting and variance analysis for NAM Retail
- Contributing to weekly sales reviews with insightful and relevant commentary on NAM retail performance vs targets
- Partnership with store development team re. new business cases, capital investment for relocations and renovations and operating KPI’s for new store openings
- Partnership with P&C regarding retail compensation planning
- Delivering and developing supporting analysis and materials for monthly and quarterly business reviews
- Responsible for reconciling P&L forecast loads into Oracle
- Providing financial expertise and guidance to business leaders as needed
- Preparing ad hoc financial information as required

**Are you our next Manager, FP&A - NAM Retail?**:

- You have a professional accounting designation, degree in Accounting or equivalent
- You have 7+ years proven experience in a FP&A in progressively senior roles
- You have advanced analytical skills with a strong aptitude for MS Excel and PowerPoint
- You have exceptional attention to detail
- You are highly proficient in accounting systems and business intelligence (BI) tools
- You can prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You can balance autonomy and collaboration
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
- You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment
- Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
- Assets:

- International business experience
- Experience with SAP Oracle
- Experience in multi-platform, multi-currency environments

$104,000 - $130,000 a year
- A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$104,000 - CAD$130,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
