**Our Projects**:
At Vintage Woodworks, we handle a wide variety of projects ranging from commercial and residential properties to intricate storefronts and mouldings. Many of our restoration projects combine multiple services, including new storefront designs, a variety of custom mouldings, and both new and restored windows. We specialize in single-glazed upgrades as well as thermally efficient double glazing, ensuring that each project meets both aesthetic and energy standards. Every piece we produce is handcrafted from top-quality materials, with meticulous attention to detail, reflecting our unwavering commitment to excellence.
**The Role**:
As Joiner you’ll have the unique opportunity to learn from our team of seasoned experts, who are passionate about passing on their knowledge of advanced woodworking techniques. You’ll be involved in hands-on restoration and crafting projects, working with historically accurate materials and designs while learning the latest in energy-efficient upgrades. This role allows you to utilize your skills and contribute to projects that require a high level of craftsmanship, complexity and precision, from restoring windows to constructing intricate storefronts, and more.
**Responsibilities (Include and not limited to)**:
- Produce joinery products, including windows, storefronts, and doors, using both traditional and modern techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, working independently on complex tasks.
- Utilize advanced joinery techniques such as dovetail, mortise and tenon, ensuring historical accuracy and high-quality craftsmanship.
- Select high-quality wood materials for each project, maintaining our top-shelf standards.
- Mentor and support apprentices, fostering a culture of learning and skill development.
- Ensure all safety guidelines are followed, and that project quality meets our high standards.
**About You**:
- Minimum 3rd-year joiner apprentice with hands-on woodworking experience.
- Skilled in traditional joinery and modern woodworking machinery.
- Able to work independently with strong attention to detail and time management.
- A keen interest about heritage restoration and high-quality craftsmanship.
- Take pride in your work and collaborate with others to produce high quality products
