**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service and a warm welcome. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience, working collaboratively with other team members to maintain the high standards of our establishment.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet, seat and serve guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly atmosphere.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing menu recommendations when needed.
- Handle cash and process payments using the point-of-sale system while maintaining accuracy in transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant area, including dining tables and waiting areas.
- Assist with food handling and some light kitchen prep while ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest needs promptly and effectively.
- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience in the food industry is preferred, including knowledge of food handling practices.
- A good attitude and willingness to help.

Spark Chef is a brand new restaurant here in Sherwood Park. We provide an elevated quality casual dining experience for both lunch and dinner. As we are a small operation, we require a single individual at a time to work as our Front of House Team Member along side our head chef each shift. Currently, we are looking for a part-time or casual employees capable of covering shifts during our opening hours of 11 a.m to 10 p.m.
