**The Role**

Edmonton Kenworth Ltd. is looking for a First Year Apprentice Heavy Duty Truck Technician for our Leduclocation, who is responsible for performing minor maintenance work in accordance with dealer and factory standards, preparing service documentation in accordance with company policy, and performing quality work while adheering to the work assigned to them by the on floor supervisor.

**Responsibilities**

Adjust equipment, and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems

Install new or replacement parts according to specifications

Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that the work done meets manufacturers’ specification and legislated regulations

Assure completion of all repairs, maintenance requirements and/or modifications to the truck or other assigned vehicle

Stay abreast of technology and attend training as it becomes available

**Requirements**:

- A High school diploma
- A Heavy Equipment Technician Apprenticeship Certification with Heavy Truck experience
- Minimum 1 year training in a Heavy Duty Truck fleet or shop environment

**Shift**

This is a permanent Full Time position.

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

**Experience**:

- Heavy Duty Truck or Shop: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Apprentice Certificate (preferred)
