Banquet Attendant

**Four Points by Sheraton Moncton,**part of DP Murphy Inc is looking for a Banquet Attendant to join our team. If you would enjoy working in the best work environment in the city, have the ability to identify and resolve guest related concerns, and are adaptable to changing demands, this opportunity will allow you to grow and develop your skills **Duties will include (but not limited to)**: - Setting up events per the Banquet Event Order - Preparing coffee stations and ensure proper audio visual equipment is present - Detailing Set Up per Venue Standards - Lifting, Pulling, Pushing up to 50lbs - Light cleaning duties as required to keep the venue in pristine condition - Ability to work early mornings and evenings based on event schedules - Must have the ability to work independently and complete set up assignments with little supervision - Re-setting room as required to a "tour ready" set or for the next event - Assisting the sales department with guest requests during events - Must be extremely reliable and have an excellent work history of dependability and responsibility - Willing to complete other outside tasks as requested **Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent Pay: From $16.00 per hour Additional pay: - Tips Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Evening shift - Holidays - On call - Weekends as needed Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2023-12-11 Expected start date: 2025-05-19
