Headquartered in Calgary, AOR is in search of an experienced Product Development Technician to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in establishing Manufacturing/Production Pharma/Nutraceutical Processes
- Assist in the development of new processes, technologies or tooling needed to manufacture company products.
- Assist in identifying/developing/qualifying fixtures for manufacturing processes.
- Assist in the implementation of Manufacturing/Production Processes.
- Preparing Master Batch Records (MBR’s)
- Work with Process Engineers to ensure manufacturing meets quality requirements and project schedule.
- Identify process improvements for established products.
- Assist in determining equipment needs for manufacturing.
- Assist in the resolution of production problems as needed.
- Assist in investigating and testing of new or revised production procedures.
- Assist in evaluating and qualifying raw materials from new and existing suppliers.
- Work with Product Development team to ensure that products are optimally designed for manufacturing.
- Assist and create appropriate protocols to support product development activities.
- Provide proper documentation for the production area to support Health Canada/FDA/ISO quality and GMP Standards.
- Work with engineers, designers, Quality Assurance and Managers to develop and document manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Associate Degree and minimum of 5 years related experience in the pharmaceutical/ nutraceutical processing field
- Experience with coating, encapsulation, tabletting, fluidized bed drying, roller compaction, micro-milling and other related pharmaceutical skills is essential.
