Rocket Factory is premium craft cannabis producer located on 30 acres farms land in Chatham Ontario. The Rocket Factory is 31,000 square foot purpose built indoor growing facility positioned to cultivate the best cannabis flower in the industry. The Company’s product is based on small-batch and hand manicured cannabis making us one of Canada’s most sought-after craft cannabis producers. The Rocket Team combines years of knowledge in the industry with a shared passion to cultivate the latest genetic strains.
**Overview**:
The General Labourer is responsible for assisting in all growing and harvest activities including defoliation, trimming, sorting, packaging of cannabis, and facility sanitation. General laborers will be cross-trained in all departments on the production floor.
- Perform cultivation activities including plant room transfers and defoliation.
- Perform post-harvest activities including trimming, sorting, and packaging of cannabis.
- Keeps work areas clean and performs sanitation duties where required.
- Maintains all necessary documentation associated with tasks performed.
- Strictly adhere to Rocket Factory’s Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Assurance policies.
- Other related duties as assigned.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to sit or stand for up to eight hours per day, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks.
- This position requires the repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects, and involves bending and reaching.

Pay: From $17.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
