Brake Press Operator

Set up and operate a variety of CNC brake press, with North American and European Tooling.

Spandreltech designs and manufactures a broad range of Custom Sheet metal component for the Glazing and construction industry. We rely on the skill and expertise of our operators to ensure our custom products are manufactured to a high degree of accuracy. **Responsibilities Include**
- Program and set up machines to meet job requirements
- Ensure that brake presses are properly set up and make any on the fly alterations to programs to ensure the completed product is correct
- Ensure Brake Press and Program are set properly prior to shift change in order to ensure proper work flow carry over
- Demonstrate math skills to ensure items are designed and built up to standard
- Ability to identify and change brake press tools
- Insert material into machines manually
- Interpret and understand fabrication drawings

**Qualifications**
- 1-5 Years’ experience operating a CNC Brake Press
- Work effectively as a team and individually
- Strong understanding of Aluminum and Galvanized Steel
- Ability to meet deadlines, Some overtime may be required
- Understanding of Imperial Dimensions and the ability to ensure high accuracy

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
