**Job Duties**:
As a Building Material Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling a wide range of building materials to customers, including contractors, builders, architects, and other professionals in the construction industry. Your primary objective will be to meet or exceed sales targets by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing them with suitable building material solutions. Salary plus commission based.

**Responsibilities**:

- Sales Generation: _Actively prospect and generate new leads, follow up on existing leads, and convert leads into sales opportunities. Utilize various sales techniques, including cold calling, networking, and referrals, to maximize sales potential.
- Client Relationship Management:_ Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including contractors, builders, architects, and other professionals in the construction industry. Understand their requirements, provide product information and recommendations, and offer solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Quotations and Proposals: _Prepare accurate and competitive price quotations and proposals for customers, considering factors such as quantities, delivery timelines, and project specifications. Negotiate pricing and terms to secure orders and maintain profitability.

**Qualifications**:

- Sales and Marketing preferred but not required
- Experience selling to Home Builders/Residential Contractors
- Strong knowledge on Construction, Framing, Floor systems and Trusses preferred
- Experience selling to builders, construction companies and end-users an asset
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with own vehicle required
- 2+ years Sales experience in Lumber, Building Products or Residential Construction Industry is required

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
