Description

We are seeking experienced Instrumentation Technician or those with an active apprenticeship with live plant experience. Our Fort McMurray Industrial projects are stable and long-term which means you can plan for your future, whether that be saving for your child’s education or your next amazing vacation.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret drawings and follow code specifications and procedures
- Installation of instrumentation tubing, inspecting, testing and fault finding
- Installation of instruments, hoses and fabrication
- Calibration of components and instruments according to manufacturers’ specifications
- Journeypersons must be willing to act as a mentor to apprentices

Qualifications:

- Have a Journeyperson Instrumentation certification or be a registered apprentice from a recognized provincial training authority
- Experience working on a construction project in an industrial setting
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication skills
- Able to successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol test

Work Conditions:

- 14 days on and 7 days off rotational shift working 10 hour days
