Naomi Society has a job opening for a **Summer Project Coordinator.**

The Summer Project Coordinator will assist with a number of projects and initiatives that include but are not limited to:

- Distributing promotional and informational material within Antigonish & Guysborough County (mileage)
- Organizing and attending information booths at community festivals and events
- Scheduling community information sessions and presentations for staff
- Creating information packages for service users and board members
- Maintaining and updating social media
- Researching and organizing resource material
- Other general office and administrative duties

Qualifications:

- Working toward, or holds a degree or diploma in social sciences, counselling or equivalent combination of training and expertise, and or communications
- Exceptional computer and social media skills; Microsoft Word, Google Suite, **Canva, Facebook & Instagram**are essential
- An understanding of the dynamics of family, intimate partner and sexual violence
- Creative; possesses sound judgement and decision making skills
- Experienced and interested in facilitating presentations and interacting with community members
- A strong sense of community resources and agencies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills

**Requirements**:

- Willing to travel within Antigonish & Guysborough County, compensation for mileage
- A valid driver’s license, insurance, & reliable transportation
