**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver lessons and games to dancers at various levels that targets balance, technique, strength, and overall skill development;
- Choreograph unique routines depending on participants’ skill level, within the styles of ballet, lyrical/contemporary, jazz, and hip hop designed to culminate members’ learning;
- Create a welcoming environment for children that encourages participation, and curiosity for learning;
- Maintain professional and respectful relationships with fellow peers, supervisors, community partners, parents/guardians and community members;
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong leadership skills;
- Demonstrate use of positive behaviour guidance;
- Ensure program health & safety protocols are followed;
- Attend monthly meetings & trainings;
- Follow all policies and procedures BGC Hamilton Halton;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to take initiative in a rapidly-shifting Programming.
- A commitment to the Clubs mission, Vision and Core Values;
- Knowledge in the following areas including technique, musicality, and choreography for various styles including ballet, lyrical/contemporary, jazz, and hip hop

A commitment to the Clubs mission, Vision and Core Values;
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Screening and Standard First Aid and CPR-C ( Red Cross preferred);
- Safe Food Handlers Certificate;
- High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development is an asset.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.55 per hour
