Part-time Kot

**Job Overview**:
As a Part-Time KOT Member, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating food orders between the front-of-house and kitchen teams. Your primary role is to ensure accurate, timely, and organized transmission of customer orders to the kitchen, supporting smooth restaurant operations and exceptional service delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive customer orders from servers or POS systems and accurately generate Kitchen Order Tickets (KOTs).
- Prioritize and communicate orders clearly and quickly to kitchen staff.
- Monitor the preparation status of dishes and update the serving staff on order readiness.
- Ensure special instructions, allergies, and modifications are conveyed to the kitchen.
- Verify that outgoing orders match customer quality, quantity, and customization requests.
- Coordinate between kitchen and serving teams to manage order delays and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in managing kitchen workflow during busy periods by sequencing orders efficiently.
- Support inventory checks by reporting low stock items when noticed during KOT processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the order processing and pickup areas.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is an asset.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food safety practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems and order management processes is preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
