We are currently seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our dental team as a treatment coordinator on a fixed term contract covering maternity leave.

Responsibilities of the dental **treatment coordinator **include
- outlining complex dental treatment options for patients
- managing financial arrangements for patients
- scheduling sequenced dental appointments
- organizing laboratory workflow (cases in/out)
- submission of pre-determination of benefits for insurance
- managing and following up on referrals (in and out)
- ordering of materials and equipment required for treatment

The receptionist component requires responsibility for greeting and assisting patients the moment they enter the office. Making appointments for patients and maintaining their accounts. Coordinating the dentist's schedule and bill patients and their insurance companies.

**Skills required**
- High school diploma
- Knowledge of dental treatment,
- Word processing and dental management software experience is required
- Applicants with at least 3 years of experience will be considered

Skills preferred
- ODAA - Certified Dental Treatment Coordinator (CDTC)
- Experience with insurance predetermination submissions including Ministry of Health/Ontario Dental Funding Program
- Experience coordinating referrals to different specialist offices

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12-16 months

**Salary**: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
