**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Responsible for the upkeep and cleaning of the public areas of the Clubhouse including:

- Vacuuming of the public rooms and hallways.
- Clean building floors and walls by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming as needed.
- Dust furniture, walls, fixtures, machines and equipment.
- Maintains appropriate stock of hand towels, amenities and supplies for the bathroom areas, and clean the facilities to maintain a healthy and sanitary environment.
- Carry linens, towels, toilet items and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts or by hand as needed.
- Ensures member bedrooms and Club overnight suites are prepared for guests including:

- Change bedding and make beds as directed
- Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies and bathroom items
- Gather and empty garbage, clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Move and arrange furniture, as required, and turn mattresses.
- Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Maintains amenities in the ladies locker room and restock towels and supplies as needed.
- Notifies supervisor concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Assists fellow workers in their duties whenever possible, without neglecting own duties. Maintains and ensures good spirited teamwork and work ethics with all other employees.
- Has a complete understanding of The Toronto Golf Club’s policies, rules and regulations as outlined inthe Employee Handbook.
- Ensures that all Club policies, Food & Beverage policies and Health and Safety policies are adhered to in accordance with the standards established by the Club.
- Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time by any member of the management team.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop and walk for up to five hours at a time, while using cleaning equipment including but not limited to vacuums, mops, squeegees.
- Must have sufficient physical strength and ability to independently and repeatedly lift, move and carry objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds and to repeatedly lift, move and carry objects weighing more than fifty (50) pounds with assistance.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with other employees in the Administration, Course & Grounds, Pro Shop and Clubhouse departments.
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
