**How You Will Contribute**:
Reporting to the Team Lead, Client Services, as a MD Trade Representative, you will be responsible for delivering and maintaining a positive and professional standard of customer service in both official languages through the effective facilitation of trade instructions and responding to on-line, telephone and chat inquiries from current and prospective clients as well as their MD representatives Canada-wide.
- You will be accountable for developing and maintaining detailed knowledge relative to MD products and services, market conditions, interest rates and other financial industry news.
- You will utilize your solid understanding of the financial services industry and its variety of services, investment account types and financial instruments such as mutual funds, bonds and equities, including a detailed understanding of the rules regarding RRSP’s, TFSA and non-registered investments and tax-related concerns, to effectively manage a variety of client requests, ensuring both the interests of the client and MD remain priority.
- You will facilitate real time and accurate trading related to mutual funds, equities and fixed income products.
- You will maintain and monitor outstanding inquiries and issues, ensuring that established service level standards are met and appropriate solutions are identified to address administrative errors/problems.
- You will actively identify and develop opportunities for client retention and lead generation.

**The Must Haves**:
- University degree in business, commerce or equivalent.
- Front-line experience within a contact centre and/or in the financial services industry.
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC).
