Assistant to a lead builder of 20+ years experience doing the following....

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the scope of renovation projects
- Perform various renovation tasks such as caulking, painting, drywall installation, and cabinet installation
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools to assist with demolition, excavation, and construction tasks
- Build and assemble structures according to project plans and specifications
- Prepare surfaces for renovation work by cleaning, sanding, and removing old materials
- Install and repair drywall, including taping, mudding, and sanding
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and finish materials
- Construct concrete forms for pouring foundations, slabs, and other concrete structures

**Skills**:

- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings
- Experience in caulking, construction painting, drywall installation, cabinet installation, and concrete forming
- Knowledge of various hand tools and power tools used in renovation projects
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators or bulldozers is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately according to project specifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills to overcome challenges during the renovation process
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks and work in various weather conditions

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
