We are currently under a new ownership, we have ambitious plans and we are seeking for a talented Shipper / Receiver who wants to be part of them

- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- Packaging; to include skid construction, boxing crating, shrink wrapping and strapping of finished products to be shipped.
- Loading and unloading of shipments and to verify against bills of lading for accuracy.
- Might be required to schedule distribution of goods; prepare bills of lading and other shipping documents.
- Able to effectively communicate with the internal and external customers.
- Ensure safety procedures are adhered to for each piece of equipment being worked on as well as all appropriate personal protective equipment and guards are in place.
- Maintain shipping/receiving area is clean and clear of hazards.
- Perform other duties as required.
- **Qualifications and Skills**_
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience
- Post-secondary related education is a plus
- Must be able to drive a forklift and have a licence. (Training Available)
- Must be able to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English.
- Must be computer literate with sound knowledge of data base software.
- Able to read and interpret imperial measurements.
- Decision making skills in a fast-paced environment with good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Have working knowledge of air tools, power saws, staple guns and strapping equipment.
- Physically demanding; requires lifting capability of up to 50 lbs.
