**Gallery 1 Furniture,**based out of the Atrium in Dartmouth, is currently looking for a passionate and motivated individual to fill the position of **Sales Design Consultant**. We are seeking an individual who can offer exceptional customer service and attention to detail. The unique product selection and exclusive product lines provide an exceptional customer experience.

As a Sales Design Consultant, you are a career-minded professional that strives to provide unparalleled service to your clients. You have a strong passion for interior design and believe in creating an interior that is reflective of your clients lifestyle. Your focus is to assist clients in providing solutions to their home décor needs while meeting sales targets.

**As a Sales Associate you will**:

- Use exceptional communication skills to uncover customer’s needs;
- Use your product knowledge to find suitable solutions for customer’s needs;
- Successfully convert customer opportunities into results;
- Develop long-term relationships with customers;
- Provide information to customers to ensure accurate and realistic expectations; regarding delivery and after-sale experience;
- Work collaboratively with entire furniture team to ensure an overall positive customer experience.

**Requirements**:

- Certificate in Interior Design is not required, but an asset
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- ability to develop strong rapport and relationships with customers
- Experience in sales and/or customer service is a strong asset, but willing to train individuals with the right attitude.
- Positive, team-player
- Ability to problem solve and identify solutions;
- Proficient with computer programs and technology;
- Flexible, available to work on weekends
