City Dispatcher

In this role the incumbent will be responsible for the movement of loads and trucks in a defined geographical area; ensure safe, efficient, on-time movement of all customer loads; create plans and manage the trailer bank.

**Main Duties**
- Ensure all units are on schedule for delivery and pickup
- Plan daily loads on trucks
- Manage equipment, trailer banks
- Encouraging general awareness of the driver
- create a strong relationship with all stakeholders
- Ensure all applicable documentation is retained and processed
- Complete yard checks

**Skills and Experience**
- 2 years of Dispatching experience in the trucking industry
- TMW experience is an asset
- Analytical and detail oriented
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs
- Knowledge of Hours of Service requirements and legislation is an asset
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proven ability to work in a fast pace environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
