IHG has no involvement in the hiring or day-to-day employment policies or practices of franchisees._ **About Us** The Holiday Inn Express & Staybridge Suites hotels are actively recruiting members for our Housekeeping team who will help to create a warm and inviting place for our guests to call "home". Part time hours and full time hours are available. **Your day to day** RESPONSIBILITIES - Cleaning guestrooms, vacuuming, and making beds to the high standards of the brand, within established timelines. - Ensuring the work environment is tidy and well organized at all times, including hallways, carts and linen storage areas. - Removal of waste from guestrooms/corridors to central processing area. - Proper tagging and handling of lost & found items - Proper communication of maintenance issues - Adheres to all hotel policies regarding security, safety procedures, and guest confidentiality. - Maintains the appropriate personal appearance and hygiene when on duty, including proper uniform. - Proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals **What we need from you** SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE - Available to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays - Friendly, customer oriented attitude - Works well with little supervision in a team environment - Strong attention to detail - Able to communicate effectively and positively with guests and coworkers - Job requires constant standing, walking, lifting and bending - Requires some heavy lifting (approx. 40-50 lbs.) **What we offer** - Permanent and temporary positions available - Flexible hours - 16 to 40 hours /week - Free on-site parking - Tips **Salary**: $1.00 per year Ability to commute/relocate: - Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S1J0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
