**Job Posting: Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) - Medical Dermatology Clinic**

**Position**: Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)
**Type**: Full-Time (One-Year Maternity Leave Contract)
**Start Date**: March 2025
**Location**: Primary location in Cobourg, ON; occasional shifts may be required in Peterborough, ON

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare patients for appointments, including taking medical history and assisting with room setup.
- Perform delegated tasks such as administering injections, phototherapy, other treatments under the direction of physicians including assisting physician in skin surgical procedures.
- Manage patient support programs for advanced medications, assisting patients with paperwork and inquiries.
- Maintain and monitor medical supplies, ensuring rooms are fully stocked and organized.
- Provide compassionate care, educating patients on treatment plans and medication usage.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless clinic operations and exceptional patient experiences.
- _Note that this position does not include cosmetic treatments_

**Qualifications**
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as an RPN in good standing.
- Experience in a clinical or dermatological setting is an asset.
- Proficient in or interested in learning how to administer injections and phototherapy procedures (training will be provided as necessary).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility to travel between Cobourg and Peterborough locations as required.
