**Compounding Pharmacy Assistant**

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist pharmacists in accurately and efficiently preparing compounded medications, ensuring each product meets quality standards.
- Maintain a meticulously organized inventory of compounding materials, ensuring accurate labeling, proper storage, and timely restocking.
- Utilize strong communication skills to work effectively with healthcare professionals, team members, and patients regarding compounded medications.
- Support and execute processes related to medication packaging, labeling, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to streamline compounding procedures and uphold safety protocols.
- Actively participate in ongoing training and development, staying up-to-date with best practices in compounding pharmacy.
- Provide support in training new team members on compounding processes, emphasizing thoroughness, organization, and attention to detail.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a compounding pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical compounding techniques and medical terminology is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow structured processes are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Self-motivated with a genuine interest in growing within the compounding field and continuously developing new skills.

Pay: $16.55-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
