Reporting to the Centre Director and Assistant Director, the Early Childhood Educator Substitute is accountable for creating a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow, communicate and to provide support to families at the YMCA Early Learning Centres across Cumberland County. The Early Childhood Educator Substitute is responsible for ensuring all YMCA Playing to Learn program requirements are met and exceeded while complying with the Ministry of Education Regulations and National YMCA Child Protection Standards.

**We are looking to hire an Early Childhood Educator Substitute, with a Level 1, 2, or 3 Certification or an untrained individual for a position to cover our Cumberland County locations in our full day centres and/or after school programming.**
- **Qualifications**:_

Early Childhood Education Diploma or equivalent and NS Classification.

Experience working in child care.

Maintain current first aid and CPR certification.

Maintain a clean Criminal Record Check which includes a clear Vulnerable Sector Check.

Provide and maintain an up-to-date Child Abuse Registry Check.

Occasional evenings for team trainings and meetings

Pay: $16.60-$28.61 per hour
