**About this Role**:
As the Director of People and Culture (PnC), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the PnC function by streamlining PnC processes that foster excellent employee experiences and leading our Talent Attraction strategy. Your strategic insights, technological expertise, and people-focused approach will be instrumental in driving the success of our PnC initiatives and contributing to our overall business objectives.

**Location**:This is a hybrid role based in our Kitchener HQ

**Responsibilities**:

- Employee Experience: Execute initiatives that promote a positive and engaging employee experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver programs that support employee well-being, growth, and satisfaction.
- Talent Acquisition: Lead the Talent Acquisition team with a focus on strategic thinking and workforce planning
- Executive Leader Partnership: Work closely with our C-Suite and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to ensure optimal organizational design, hiring, employee engagement and career development
- Total Rewards Strategy: Evolve total rewards strategy that aligns with our organizational goals, culture, and industry benchmarks.
- Compensation Program Management: Evaluation and management of our compensation programs, ensuring they remain competitive and support our talent acquisition and retention efforts.
- Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration, and compliance of our employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, wellness, and voluntary benefits.
- Performance Management: Manage and communicate the performance management program across Avidbots, integrating the total rewards framework to ensure that rewards align with individual and team impact.
- Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data analytics to gather insights into PnC and measure the effectiveness of programs. Prepare and present data-driven reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Compliance and Policy: Ensure PnC practices and processes comply with legal regulations and industry standards. Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and best practices to mitigate risks and maintain a compliant PnC function.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing PnC team. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture, empowering team members to excel in their roles and contribute to the overall success of the department.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or PnC/HR certification is a plus.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role.
- Experience in / Leading Talent Acquisition functions
- Proven track record of successfully optimizing PnC processes and driving operational efficiency.
- Expertise in HRIS implementation, data analytics, and technology integration.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align PnC initiatives with business goals.
- Experience with Lattice and BambooHR preferred
