**Requirements**:

- 306A Plumber or Apprentice Certification
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- A valid class G driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
- Able to cover a rotating, weekly 24 hour on-call emergency service schedule (including weekends)
- Ability to read, interpret and understand mechanical blueprints, shop drawings and specifications for residential mid-rise and other commercial projects
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy, fast paced environment
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
- Hard working and strong attention to detail
- Experience with well pumps & septic systems an asset

**Credentials (certificates, memberships, courses, etc.)**
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Aerial lift and aerial work platform Certification
- Working at heights training
- Backflow license is an asset

**Specific Skills**
- Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems
- Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
- Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors
- Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
- Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment
- Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
- Camera Inspection & Locating

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 60 per week
