**Magnocan Inc.** is looking for a **Full-time **Metal Fabricator in our Woodstock, ON location.

**Responsibilities**:

- Studying engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements and task sequences
- Studying job specifications to determine appropriate fabrication methods
- Aligning and fitting parts according to the specifications
- Positioning, aligning, fitting, notching, punching, and welding parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layoutspecifications using machine and hand tools
- Measuring dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verifytheir conformance to specifications
- Locating and marking workpiece bending and cutting lines, allowingfor stock thickness, machine and welding shrinkage, and othercomponent specifications
- Troubleshooting and performing quality tests on products tominimize problems
- Testing products for their functionality and reporting and detailingproduct malfunctions
- Putting appropriate coatings to each product and working withpowder sprayers, and blasting tools
- Installing the equipment at customer's locations and ensuring thatthey are working properly and safely
- Repairing the products and providing after-sale services in case theyare needed

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of secondary school
- Completion of a three
- or a four-year apprenticeship program or a combination of over four years of work experience in the trade
- Successful completion of the interprovincial Red Seal examination
- Be strong and physically fit
- Pay close attention to details and exercise absolute precision tocreate safe structures
- Have good hand-eye coordination
- Be comfortable with bending, lifting, standing, climbing, andsquatting, in addition to placing and attaching heavy metalcomponents
- Ability to work with heavy machinery, including forklifts and cranes(Should be trained and certified)
- Qualified by the Canadian Welding Bureau
- Certified by Ontario College of T rades
- Trade certification for the metal fabricator (fitter) would be an asset

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Metal fabrication: 4 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Woodstock, ON (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Woodstock, ON: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
