adhere to the plan of care
- Facilitate residents' move in and transfer
- Observe and report on residents service
- Assist the resident with personal care and medications
- Observe and report on changes in resident
- Escalate medical emergencies to supervisor or emergency medical services
- Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring and adaptive aids
- Demonstrate understanding of resident needs and maximize abilities
- Provide cognitive, social, emotional and psychological support to the resident
- Maintain resident confidentiality
- Respond to resident concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment

**Required Education and Experience**
- Graduate of Personal Support Worker program is an asset
- Experience working with seniors in the community health services setting
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required
- Current (within 6 months) Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $16.75 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)
