**About the Opportunity**:
The treatment facility in Halifax is comprised of seven Varian treatment units, including five TrueBeam units, one equipped with stereoscopic imaging and robotic guidance, and two HyperSight-equipped Ethos units. Two new machines will be installed within the coming year as part of an ongoing machine replacement project. A progressive range of radiation treatment is offered, including VMAT for a majority of radical cases, cranial SRS/SRT and SBRT for lung, liver, prostate and spine indications, VMAT-based Total Marrow Irradiation, and online adaptive radiation therapy. The facility also administers an active brachytherapy service, including ultrasound-based, real-time prostate HDR. Treatment planning is done using Eclipse deployed through a thin client architecture, and Oncentra for HDR brachytherapy. External beam and brachytherapy treatment planning are done with Eclipse and Oncentra, respectively. MRI and PET imaging and cyclotron facilities are also on site.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Completion of Dosimetry 1 from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT), with a minimum grade of 75%

In addition, desirable credentials and attributes include:

- Applicants not already holding the certificate will be expected to complete the requirements within 3 years
- An in depth knowledge of treatment planning and the physical principles of dose calculation
- Experience in CT and MRI imaging for radiation therapy treatment planning
- A demonstrated record of teaching or mentoring
- An ability to work independently and reliably within a cohesive team
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to identify priorities
- An ability to maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to work constructively and positively within a small team environment
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

**Compensation and Benefits**:
$52.27 - $58.07 Hourly
