Customs Broker

The Customs Broker responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Document review and assessment of accuracy, verifying country of origin, IOR, terms of sale and value to ensure compliance.
- A strong understanding of the Customs Act, DMEMORANDUM, Canadian Free Trade agreements and Customs Tariff Act which addresses the responsibilities of a Customs broker.
- A understanding of processing through SWI, ACROSS, ARL and CADEX.
- Assisting with customs technical and operational inquiries from team members.
- Perform quality control functions to ensure staff complete brokerage transactions accurately including coordinating of customs activities, operational rating and technical, to ensure that shipments are classified and rated properly, and cleared in a timely manner.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- 10+ years of Customs Brokerage experience. Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Effective written & verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to recognize sense of urgency & exceptional follow up skills.
- Energetic, hard working, accountable and pro-active.

Must have CCS designation.

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
