**What does your day at GIP look like?**

A Water Truck Driver typically performs a wide variety of tasks, transferring from one task to another as the workflow dictates. The Water Truck Driver may also drive a tri-axle truck and trailer for the asphalt/paving operations.
- Drives water trucks to transport water for construction projects or to provide water for use on the construction site.
- Settle dust on roadways and streets and saturate flexible base for compaction.
- Perform daily safety checks of fluid levels on oil, water, fuel and inspections for leaks and damage to vehicles before operation.
- Responsible for daily maintenance of vehicle to remain in proper and safe working order.
- Responsible for notifying supervisor if vehicle needs to be repaired.
- Drive tri-axle truck and trailer when and if required.

**Enough about us, let’s talk about you.**
- Valid class A or D driver’s license; DZ required; AZ preferred.
- Clean Drivers Abstract
- Proven experience driving water trucks or similar equipment.
- Experience operating a tri-axle dump truck and floating or tagging experience is an asset.
- Must be highly productive.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, weekends, overtime, etc.
- Team Player
- Approved safety footwear: other PPE will be provided by the Company.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Results-driven with an ability to deliver success in a fast-paced environment.
- Outcome focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyse and visualize to ensure continuous improvement across our business.
- Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Simcoe, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 1 Licence (preferred)
