**The Position**:
Deals with small to medium, less complex E&O claims, complaints/concerns and investigations related to these claims and complaints. Provides guidance to the Business in the identification, assessment, management, and resolution of risk challenges. Assists Corporate Risk Sr. Analyst/Specialist and manager with risk reporting. Supports Distribution and risk control business strategies by promoting risk control “value added” products and services to clients and brokers. Has intermediate working knowledge of policy wordings, coverages, and interpretation.

**What you will be doing**:

- Responds to small and medium, less complex E&O claims reported and complaints/concerns. Conducts timely and impartial investigations of complaints and make recommendations.
- Analyzes collected data to bring consistent practices across the organization and identifies areas that need further risk mitigation.
- Escalates risk related issues to the Corporate Risk Sr. Analyst/Specialist/Manager and participates in preparation of risk reporting by capturing and aggregating results from the key risk processes to be presented the Business Units.
- Provide guidance to the Business in the identification, assessment, management, and resolution of risk challenges and supports Distribution and risk control business strategies by promoting risk control “value added” products and services to clients and brokers.
- Maintains current and detailed knowledge of operational risk issues including awareness of domestic legislation, regulations, insurance industry trends and initiatives, best practices, underwriting guidelines and standards, policy wordings, and implementation of these practices.
- Responds to incoming complaints after the complaint process is exhausted
- Participates in special projects as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**What you bring to the table**:

- High School and/or Post-Secondary Education
- An understanding of the EPIC broker management system
- Claims experience or knowledge
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Claims and policy wordings and coverage experience, as well as a good understanding of coverage knowledge.
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Good relationship with markets and regulators
