Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and systems
- Monitor and adjust chemical dosages to ensure proper treatment
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on equipment
- Collect samples and conduct laboratory tests to analyze wastewater quality
- Record and maintain accurate data and logs of treatment processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Previous experience in wastewater treatment or related field preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This position requires the ability to perform heavy lifting, as there may be a need to move equipment or materials during the course of the job. The responsibilities of the Wastewater Operator include operating and maintaining wastewater treatment equipment, monitoring chemical dosages, conducting laboratory tests, troubleshooting operational issues, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The requirements for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, previous experience in wastewater treatment or a related field (preferred), the ability to perform heavy lifting, strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

**Salary**: $22.80-$25.00 per hour
