**POSITION: Customer Service Supervisor**
**DEPARTMENT: Value Stream**
**LOCATION: Waterloo, ON**
**Position Summary**
Customer Service Supervisor is a key role in our Value Stream. This role will correspond and collaborate with the other leaders in the Value Stream, global commercial team and channel partners, to ensure an excellent customer experience. Leading a team of Customer Service Representatives (CSR’s).
**Essential Functions**
- Monitoring of customer PO’s meet compliance standards
- Monitor order entry and maintenance of open orders per standard operating procedures
- Coordinate with value stream leaders to execute and problem solve issues regarding customer orders
- Creates the conditions/ opportunities/environment, which brings out the “best” in the team
- Provides leadership, including setting performance standards for the team, monitors performance, includes corrective actions and performance appraisals.
- Responsible for participating and leading hiring, goal setting, performance evaluation, career development
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
**EDUCATION**
- Related post-secondary education or equivalent experience is required.
- A technical post-secondary or equivalent degree is preferred.
**EXPERIENCE**
- 2-4 years of related experience with a proven customer service track record in technical sales environment
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.
**COMPETENCIES**
- A Customer Obsession Mindset and passion for technical sales is required.
- Demonstrated ability and experience working in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment is required.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and or pivot where required
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills are required.
- Familiarity with ERP Systems strongly desired. JDE experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of industrial equipment, previous experience with a manufacturing ERP system and basic ability to read/interpret engineering drawings would be great assets to accelerate onboarding.
**Physical Environment and Environmental Factors**
- Regularly works in an office setting.
- Frequently required to stand, sit, talk, and hear
- Must be able to work in front of a computer for a large portion of the day. May occasionally lift up to 20lbs
