Graymac Yard Completions Ltd. is a mid-sized landscape company based out of Red Deer Alberta. We have a solid reputation and are looking to add a landscape construction lead to our team.

Our landscape construction team works together to create custom landscapes in Red Deer and the surrounding area. **Landscape Construction Crew Lead $26-$35/hour**

**Requirements**:

- Have 3+ years of landscape installation experience, specifically in construction
- Ability to both give and receive direction in a team environment
- Knowledge of grading, excavation, job site organizing, horticulture
- Enjoy working outdoors in all weather
- Have a keen eye for detail and take pride in their work
- Be physically strong (lift min. 50 lbs) and a quick learner
- Class 5 license with a clean abstract and own transportation preferred (air brakes an asset)
- Knowledge of landscape products, power and hand tools, and installation techniques
- Skid steer operation, single axle dump truck and other heavy equipment experience

**Responsibilities**:

- Execute the production of custom landscapes
- Demonstrate leadership skills required to run the worksite efficiently
- Coordinate and task crew members according to best construction practices
- Organizing the site, ensuring a safe workplace, gathering materials, and helping to organize the crew
- Manage equipment and materials
- Reviewing the job regularly with Landscape Manager to ensure the project is on schedule and on budget
- Supervision and growth management of crew members, including training
- Use of skid steer, mini-excavators, stone saws, plate compactor, and other hand and power tools as trained or certified
- Timely submission of timesheets and job-related documentation including receipts, work orders, and change orders
- Participate in the goals and objectives of Graymac Yard Completions, including the building of a company culture that is respectful, inclusive, and motivated to provide excellent results while constantly striving to grow in knowledge and skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$35.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 2 years (preferred)
