Brampton, Canada Gord Telecom Inc. Full time

**Gord Telecom is growing and we are looking for a shipper and receiver to join our team ASAP**

**Responsibilities**:

- _WORK INDOOR & OUTDOORS_
- Operate Forklift
- Work in a Steel Fabrication Shop
- Organize and sort shipments of steel onto skids
- Strap steel members to skids and prepare for shipping
- Offload, unpack, verify, inspect, report and document freight to standard receiving procedures
- Verify, pack, label, load and document materials on freight according to work orders using standard shipping procedures
- Ensure accuracy on all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Occasionally cut, punch, drill, grind, and clean steel parts to specifications
- Support other warehouse activities when needed
- Warehouse organization and maintenance of bolts and fasteners
- Cut threaded rods with bandsaw
- Deliver or pick up materials from partners or customers
- Support order processing and other warehouse activity as required
- Adhere to health and safety standards

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Driver’s License
- Forklift experience and certification an asset (we will certify if not already)
- Experience working in manufacturing environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Work is partially indoors but must be able and willing to perform physical duties outdoors in all weather conditions
