**Facility Maintenance Specialist**

Palcam Technologies is seeking a **Facility Maintenance Specialist** to help ensure our facility remains clean, safe, and fully operational. Reporting to the **Maintenance Manager**, this hands-on role involves facility upkeep, machinery cleaning, material handling, and basic maintenance tasks. **Key Responsibilities**Facility Maintenance
- Perform routine cleaning of the shop floor, offices, and common areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Clean up spills immediately and use proper safety signage.
- Handle trash and recycling collection and restock supplies in restrooms and kitchen areas.

Machinery Cleaning and Basic Maintenance
- Clean and maintain machinery surfaces, removing dust, debris, and metal shavings.
- Monitor and fill machine coolant levels, ensuring correct mixing ratios.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as lubricating machine parts and checking for visible wear.

Material Handling and Inventory Management
- Assist with material transport, loading and unloading, and organizing storage areas.
- Maintain supply rooms and conduct inventory checks to ensure stock levels.
- Safely handle and dispose of cleaning chemicals in accordance with company guidelines.

Seasonal and Special Tasks
- Shovel and salt walkways in winter for safe access.
- Assist with event setup, minor landscaping, and outdoor maintenance.

Health and Safety Compliance
- Follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Identify and report hazards, maintenance needs, or equipment malfunctions.

**Qualifications**
- Experience in facility maintenance, cleaning, or material handling.
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and multitask.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks, handling cleaning chemicals, and safety protocols.
- Physical capability to bend, lift, push, pull, walk, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members.

**Working Conditions**
- Exposure to varying temperatures, dust, fumes, and noise within the facility.
- Required safety procedures and PPE provided.
- Flexibility for overtime as needed with prior management approval.
