**Location: Brantford, ON** **Shifts**:Must be flexible for any straight shift Day shift (Monday to Friday): 6:30am - 3:00pm, Afternoon shift (Monday to Friday): 3:00pm-11:30pm, Night shift (Sunday night to Friday Morning): 10:00pm-6:30am **Job Type**: Permanent Full-time **Probation Wage**: $22.25 - $24.00 **Probation Completion Wage**: $23.66 - $24.56 **One Year Wage**: $24.91 - $25.81 *Pay ranges are dependent on shift and experience **Benefits of Working at Mott**: - Hiring Bonus - Competitive compensation package - Benefit package, including health care, dental, vision, life insurance, short term disability, out of country medical - Annual profit sharing - Group Pension and RRSP (after 6 months of employment) - Safety shoe and safety glasses allowances **Key Responsibilities**: - Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (or the “Act”) and the regulations, and Mott policies - Assemble mechanical components & sub-assemblies - Install mechanical sub-assemblies & weldments - Trouble-shoot minor mechanical concerns - Verify if painted product meets Mott’s quality standards - Match proper handles, locks, etc. to the order requirements - Assemble various cabinet types as per schedule - Assemble & install different styles of sashes - Install hardware & plumbing fixtures - Prepare electrical components for standard products - Select & order steel parts as needed through our Kanban system - Make minor adjustments and repairs - Clean, wrap and prepare products for shipping - Perform other duties as required **Skills & Experience**: - Ability to read blueprints and data sheets - Ability to work with power hand tools effectively (i.e. cordless drill) - Ability to do plumbing would be considered an asset - Ability to do basic electrical would be considered an asset - Good math skills - Able to establish between different colours on the colour spectrum - Physically fit for heavy lifting of >35lbs The above are not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties, responsibilities and requirements of the job described.
