We are looking for inspired, energetic individuals, who are passionate about the industry, dedicated to providing exceptional guest experience, and strive to deliver lasting memories that pay tribute to the deeply rooted history of Chinese food and beverage culture.  

What you will find at Sunny’s Chinese is the excitement behind a new launch, the vibrant and diverse atmosphere of Kensington Market, and an energetic, passionate team that works together to create an innovative atmosphere that redefines the true meaning of hospitality and traditional cuisine.

You will be responsible for creating a positive, welcoming guest experience that begins the moment a guest enters the door.

**What You'll Do  **
- Welcome guests to the venue 
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists 
- Manage reservations 
- Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas 
- Provide access to menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s name 
- Greet guests upon their departure 
- Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options 
- Maintain a clean reception area 
- Cater to guests who require extra attention 
- Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries 

**What You'll Need  **
- Previous work experience in guest services as a host or server in a fast-paced environment 
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette 
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations 
- Experience in managing reservations 
- Demonstrable customer-service skills 
- Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person) 
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area 
- Authorization to work in Canada 
- An interest in learning about regional Chinese food and beverage

Experience is preferred, but most of all it is important that you are aligned with our core philosophy that hospitality is as much about the guest experience as it is about the employee experience. As an opening member of our team, you will be taking on the role of a cultural founder for our newly formed hospitality group. We expect that you will be as kind and communicative with your peers as you are with the guests that walk in our door.
