Position Overview:
As a Shop Worker, you will play a crucial role in our production process, working alongside skilled professionals in the stone countertop industry. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to CNC programming, AutoCAD drafting, machine operating, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. You will have the unique opportunity to learn about the entire production process, from the initial design to the final installation, while honing your skills in programming and CAD drafting.

Key Responsibilities:
*Collaborate with the team to program and operate CNC machinery for countertop fabrication.

*Utilize AutoCAD drafting software to create accurate shop sheets, design layouts and templates.

*Assist in hand fabrication when needed.

*Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols at all times.

*Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the production process.

*Take part in quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards are maintained.

*Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.

*Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop new skills in the stone industry, particularly in CNC programming and CAD drafting.

Qualifications and Skills:
*Pervious experience in the stone countertops industry is preferred but not required.

*Proficiency in CNC programming and operating is highly desired but not required.

*Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instruction is a MUST.

*Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina.

*Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with a team. Ideally the ability to lead a future team.

*Self-motivated and a proactive attitude is a requirement.

*Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

*Demonstrate time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Opportunity for Advancement:
**Salary**: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
